My name is Lisa Michelle and I have decided to write a series of children’s books. Let me start by saying why I am writing this series, “The Precocious Child Series – A Very Big Question Book.” I became a Grandma in 2020 of a delightful, intelligent, strong-willed, funny, amazing, red-headed little girl. She has lovingly chosen to call me Oma – so that is my new identity. She is curious about everything and asks so many questions – many of which are very complicated and difficult to answer for a young child. Avery is now four, has a younger sister, and continues to stump her parents time and time again with her thought-provoking questions. As a result, I decided to embark upon my passion project…to create meaningful books for younger children that address serious questions in a simple and inclusive manner.

Some might see my books as controversial. I prefer to think of them as thought provoking, inclusive, and above all, teaching the concepts of unity, kindness, and respect. I want my grandchildren to grow up learning to respect the differences among us all, to embrace diversity, and to believe they can be anything they put their minds to being. But above all, I want them to be kind…to themselves, and to others.

And don’t miss the newest addition to my library, “Chicken Butt, Chicken Butt!” This is a silly little book about silly little rhymes that will create silly little giggles.
